I get inspired by looking at what other people do. I tend do use flowers on my cards. Either stamps or die cut flowers. I don't have a favorite flower die, but I do have a lot of different flower dies. I love my Cherry Lynn flower dies.

Holiday Ornament Card with Bonnie Garby

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi Cheery Lynn Fans.  Bonnie here today from Make Time to Craft sharing a holiday card made with some wonderful dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.

I kept things pretty simple on this card since the month of December is so hectic.  This card is really just cut and assemble.  No inking, no shaping, just cut it out and stick it on!

Cheery Lynn Dies used:
CABD22 Christmas Ornament 2

I backed some red and white cardstock with Stick It adhesive and cut the ornament using each color.  I cut a circle in red just a touch smaller than the ornament and used that as the base.  I then just peeled the backing from the Stick It adhesive and stuck the pieces on.  I added the silver cording for the hanger and the bow and the ornament is done!

I cut the Fiona's Magic Mirror die in white and adhered that to my card base.  Then I cut a white rectangle measuring 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" and then stacked that on a green and red layer leaving a small border on each.  I rounded the corners on all the layers.  I backed that with white mulberry paper and then added a strip of 5/8" Christmas Plaid ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and then added that to the card base.  The ornament is added using foam dots for a little dimension.  I then cut the Pine Branches and adhered them to the upper left corner.  I finished it off with a snowflake embellishment.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you are having a fun and crafty December!!

Christmas Time by Julie Lavalette

Hi everyone, it's JULIE here hosting the blog and today I am sharing some more Festive Inspiration using some of our beautiful Dies along with Maja Design Papers.

I started by fussy cutting my figure and inking at the edges, matting and layering onto my tattered inked layers.

I layered a mixture of foilage inking my leaves at the edges, adding Glossy Accents onto my berries and cutting out my Snowflakes from Glitter Card and adding some shape into them. Finishing with some flourishes and a Poinsettia along with a sparkly gem and Accents of Stickles for added sparkle.

Great Joy Magical World 8x8 Layout by Amy Voorthuis

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Good morning Cheery Lynn Fans.
I am so happy you are here with me today. I have a 8x8 layout to show you all made with the lovely Maja Design's "Joyous Winter Days" papers and some of my precious Cheery Lynn dies. I wanted to create a winter landscape with that cute picture I used.

Great Joy Magical World:
First, I spayed with white colored spray on my background and then I inked the edges with gesso and dark ink. Then I added a star stencil on my background. The flowers were already prepared so I added them too after I placed the picture.

After that I cut our a whole bunch of leaf dies to add them to my flower clusters....and this time I did not add any snow elements because I thought it looked snowy enough. This was a really fun layout to make.

Merry Christmas Wreath by Debbie Brownmiller

3:30 AM 0 Comments
A warm hello to you.  It is Debbie from Debbie's Time out with you today.

I wanted to create a card a bit more on the masculine side today. I did a lot of inking and distressing on the base.  I then cut a stitched oval shape from the Oval Stitch and Cut tool .

I layered the Merry Christmas Pine  Partridge Sentiment  onto the oval. From the Fancy Reindeer  set I choose to use the jumping reindeer and the reindeer head to layer onto the card. This reindeer set has several dies in the set with beautiful detail as you can see. I layered a couple of holly leaves from the Holly Leaves  set. I finished them off with some glittery berries.  What a great masculine card using this reindeer set from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Thank You for visiting the blog today and for the comments you leave.
Have a crafty day my friends.
